Fluffy Vegan American Pancakes
Ingredients
- 300g flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2-3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 250ml plant-based milk
- 150ml water or aquafaba
- Vegan margarine
Preparation
In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar, and vanilla sugar.
In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: plant-based milk and water or aquafaba, adding extra sugar if using aquafaba for sweetness.
Gradually stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients to form a smooth batter.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and melt a small amount of vegan margarine.
Pour batter into the pan to form pancakes, cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
