Vegan Chocolate French Toast

Ingredients

  • 100 ml plant milk
  • 1.5 tbsp ground flax seeds or chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup
  • 4 pieces of toast
  • vegan butter for cooking

Preparation

  1. In a deep plate, add the plant milk, flax seeds, cacao powder, and agave syrup. Whisk until well combined and set aside for 5 minutes.

  2. Once the mixture has thickened, coat each toast in the mixture on both sides and then cook them in a pan with vegan butter for about 2 minutes on each side or until crispy.
