Easy Homemade Monkey Bread Dessert

Ingredients

  • two containers of Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • Optional: raisins, walnuts, or chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and spray a bundt cake pan.

  2. In a large plastic bag, mix sugar and cinnamon.

  3. Separate biscuit dough into 16 pieces.

  4. Put pieces in bag and shake to coat.

  5. Place in pan and sprinkle any remaining sugar over biscuits.

  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and melted butter.

  7. Pour over biscuit pieces in pan.

  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Allow to cool for ten minutes, then flip onto serving plate and serve warm.

  10. Optionally, top with powdered sugar or icing.
