Homemade Banana Candy Bars Healthy Treat

Ingredients

  • a few bananas
  • peanut butter (Pb)
  • chopped nuts
  • parchment paper
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • chopped cashews

Preparation

  1. Slice a few bananas in half and then in half again to make four pieces each.

  2. Layer the banana slices with peanut butter and chopped nuts in between them.

  3. Line a plate with parchment paper and place the layered bananas on it.

  4. Put the plate in the freezer for an hour.

  5. Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon coconut oil.

  6. Dip the frozen bananas in the melted chocolate.

  7. Sprinkle the dipped bananas with chopped cashews.

  8. Put them back in the freezer for about 2 hours to harden the chocolate.

  9. Store the banana candy bars in the freezer.
