Cashew Caramel Nougat Bars
Ingredients
Nogat base
- Solid part of a can of coconut cream
- 3/4 cup cashews
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 tbsp unicorn superfoods caramel slice protein
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
Cashew caramel
- 3/4 cup cashew butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp maca and lacuma powders
Chocolate coating
- 1 bag chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Flaky sea salt
Preparation
Blend together the nogat base ingredients and dump into a parchment-lined loaf pan.
Let freeze for 1-2 hours.
Mix together the cashew caramel ingredients until smooth and pour over the frozen nogat base.
Let the entire treat freeze for 3 hours.
Remove the frozen treat from the pan and slice into candy bar shapes using a sharp knife.
Melt together chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth.
Dip the frozen bars into the chocolate and tap off excess.
Sprinkle on a little flaky sea salt.
Place back into the freezer to set.
