Easy Vegan Chickpea Spice Toast Snack
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas
- olive oil
- smoked paprika
- sea salt
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- ground pepper
- chipotle powder
- cumin
- turmeric
- bread
- hummus
- tahini
- avocado
- fresh herbs
Preparation
Drain a can of chickpeas.
Cook the chickpeas in a pan with your favorite spices and a little olive oil for 3-5 minutes, for example using smoked paprika, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground pepper, and a pinch each of chipotle powder, cumin, and turmeric.
Serve on toasted bread with hummus, tahini, or mashed avocado.
Garnish with chopped fresh herbs.
