Vegan Spiced Chickpeas on Toast
Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas
- A little olive oil
- Smoked paprika
- Sea salt
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Ground pepper
- Pinch of chipotle powder
- Pinch of cumin
- Pinch of turmeric
Serving components
- Toasted bread
- Hummus or tahini or mashed avocado
- Chopped fresh herbs
Preparation
Drain the chickpeas.
Cook the chickpeas in a pan with spices and a little olive oil for 3-5 minutes.
Toast the bread.
Serve the chickpeas on toasted bread with hummus, tahini, or mashed avocado and garnish with chopped fresh herbs.
