Spiced Chickpea Toast Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • Olive oil
  • Smoked paprika
  • Sea salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Ground pepper
  • Chipotle powder
  • Cumin
  • Turmeric
  • Bread
  • Hummus or tahini or avocado
  • Fresh herbs

Preparation

  1. Drain a can of chickpeas.

  2. Cook the chickpeas in a pan with a little olive oil and spices for 3-5 minutes.

  3. Toast the bread.

  4. Serve on toasted bread with hummus, tahini or mashed avocado and garnish with chopped fresh herbs.
