Baked Maple Salmon with Spices

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon
  • Oil, ghee, or butter
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. Cut 1lb salmon into fillets, for example into thirds

  3. Brush with oil, ghee, or butter

  4. Sprinkle with a mixture of 1 tsp chili powder and 2 tsp paprika

  5. Bake for 15 minutes

  6. Remove from oven and add 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup

  7. Place back in oven, turn to broil, and broil for 1 minute
