Noodles and Vegetable Patty

Ingredients

  • 2 noodle cakes
  • 1 medium carrot, finely chopped
  • Some finely chopped spring onion
  • Handful of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 packets taste maker (noodles masala)
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • Bread crumbs
  • 2-3 tablespoons oil

Preparation

  1. Heat a deep base pan to cook noodles

  2. Add noodles into hot water

  3. Partially cook noodles

  4. Take them in a sieve

  5. Wash well with water

  6. To drain water place noodles on kitchen towel

  7. Transfer noodles in a mixing bowl

  8. Add 1 medium sized finely chopped carrot

  9. Add some finely chopped spring onion

  10. Add handful of finely chopped coriander leaves

  11. Add 2 packets taste maker (noodles masala)

  12. Add 2 tablespoons cornflour for binding

  13. Add salt as per taste

  14. Add red chilli powder as per taste

  15. Mix everything well with hands

  16. Make small patties from this mixture

  17. Coat all patties in bread crumbs

  18. Heat up the pan to shallow fry patties

  19. Pour 2-3 tablespoons oil

  20. Place all patties and cook them on medium heat

  21. Cook until they turn golden-brown from both sides

  22. Serve them with tomato ketchup

Notes

  1. Cornflour can be substituted with besan or maida for binding
