Toasted Sesame and Roasted Red Pepper Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 4 mini sweet peppers
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame dairy free cheese spread
  • 1 tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto with fermented onions and vegetables
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Hemp hearts
  • Fresh herbs

Preparation

  1. Toast the bread slices.

  2. Roast garlic wrapped in foil with a drizzle of olive oil at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.

  3. Remove stems and seeds from mini peppers and roast them for 15 minutes, tossing halfway.

  4. Top the toast with toasted sesame spread, sun-dried tomato pesto, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, fresh herbs, a sprinkle of hemp hearts, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
