Veggie Festive Burger Fakeaway

Ingredients

  • seeded brioche bun
  • egg
  • poppy seeds
  • plant chicken breast style
  • seasoned flour (about 15g)
  • rapeseed oil
  • lettuce
  • stuffing flavoured mayo
  • red onion
  • whole cranberry sauce
  • ham less slices
  • salad

Preparation

  1. Brush the brioche bun with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds, then bake for 5 minutes to set.

  2. Double dip the plant chicken breast style in beaten egg and seasoned flour.

  3. Pan fry the coated chicken in rapeseed oil until cooked.

  4. Fry the ham less slices until crisp.

  5. Assemble the burger by layering the ingredients on the bun with lettuce, stuffing flavoured mayo, red onion, whole cranberry sauce, fried ham less slices, and salad.

Tips

  1. This veggie version may not be healthier than the fast food original but offers a fun alternative.
