Crispy Fried Chocolate Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 small packet of spring roll wrappers
  • 1 assortment of small chocolate pieces

For frying

  • corn oil

For serving

  • powdered sugar
  • melted dark chocolate

Preparation

  1. Put the oil in a deep skillet and heat over medium heat.

  2. Open the packet of wrappers and place them nearby, cover with a cotton cloth to prevent drying.

  3. Take a wrapper and place a piece of chocolate on the edge, then roll the wrapper around the chocolate.

  4. Wrap the ends of the roll with foil to keep it closed and shape like a bow.

  5. Fry the rolls in batches in the oil until golden brown.

  6. Place on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.

  7. Arrange on a serving dish, put the melted chocolate in a piping bag made from butter paper and drizzle lines over the sweets, then sprinkle powdered sugar on the edges.

  8. Serve the mini chocolate sweets warm or cold.
