Homemade Steamed Caramel Pudding
Ingredients
Caramel
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons water
Pudding mixture
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1/3 can condensed milk
- 2 slices sandwich bread (optional)
Preparation
Cook the sugar and water on low heat until the sugar melts and turns brown, stirring slowly until combined, then pour into a mold and let the caramel harden.
Blend all the pudding ingredients together quickly and pour into the caramel-lined mold.
Steam the pudding for 30 minutes.
Allow it to cool completely before removing from the mold to prevent it from breaking.
