Homemade Delicious Vegan Breadrolls
Ingredients
- ingredients for 12 rolls
- 50g yeast (fresh)
- 600ml water
- 4tbsp oil
- 840-960g flour (this varies depending on what flour you use)
- 2-3tsp salt
- black pepper, thyme, garlic
- pinch of sugar
- add the oil, seasoning & salt.
- then add almost all the flour (start with around 800g. start mixing in a food processor. add more flour as necessary.
- it should be formed into a dough ball once done. not too sticky.
- cover with a cloth, place somewhere warm and allow to proof for 45-60 minutes.
Preparation
Heat the water to lukewarm (37c). crumble the yeast in a baking bowl. Pour over a little of the lukewarm water and add the tbsp sugar. mix until dissolved. Let sit for 10 minutes. Add the rest of the water (keep it at lukewarm temperature)
Add the oil, seasoning & salt
Then add almost all the flour (start with around 800g. start mixing in a food processor. Add more flour as necessary
It should be formed into a dough ball once done. not too sticky
Cover with a cloth, place somewhere warm and allow to proof for 45-60 minutes
Preheat oven to 225C
Form into rolls. bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes
