Hot and Honey Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Salmon

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Salmon

Sauce

  • 1.5 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • Pinch of chili flakes

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 415 degrees.

  2. Wash, trim, and quarter Brussels sprouts.

  3. Toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Meanwhile, make the sauce by combining 1.5 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari, 1 teaspoon sriracha, and a pinch of chili flakes; taste and add more honey or soy as needed.

  6. Remove Brussels sprouts from oven and toss with sauce.

  7. Place back into the oven and broil for 2 minutes, watching closely.

  8. For the salmon: heat a large frying pan with olive oil.

  9. Generously season salmon with salt and pepper.

  10. Cook for 4 minutes per side on medium-high heat.
