Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

Batter

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 eggs
  • melted chocolate for topping

Peanut butter cookie dough

  • 2/3 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and egg, then stir in the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Using a cookie scoop, drop the batter onto the baking sheet to make 15 cookies, then flatten each one with a greased paper towel or parchment paper.

  4. Bake for 8 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack and let cool while stirring together the peanut butter cookie dough ingredients.

  5. Roll the peanut butter dough into 15 balls, place them on each cookie, flatten slightly, top with melted chocolate, and refrigerate until the chocolate hardens.
