Easy Paleo Chocolate Donuts with Sprinkles
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Chocolate topping
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- sprinkles
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325F.
In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs.
Add almond flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and baking powder to the eggs.
Mix all ingredients together.
Grease a donut pan, preferably silicone.
Fill the donut pan with batter up to about 3/4 full.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Let the donuts cool and remove them from the pan.
Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil for the topping.
Dip the top of each donut in the chocolate mixture and add sprinkles.
Tips
Refrigerate the donuts to harden the chocolate topping if desired.
