Gluten-Free Halloween Chocolate Donuts
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
Chocolate topping
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- sprinkles
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325F.
In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs then add in 1 cup almond flour, 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 tbsp maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 tsp baking powder.
Mix all ingredients together.
Grease a donut pan.
Add batter to the pan about 3/4 of the way up.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Let cool and remove from the pan.
Melt 1/4 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil.
Dip the top of the donuts in the melted chocolate and add sprinkles.
Put in the fridge to let the chocolate topping harden if desired.
Tips
Use a silicone donut pan for easier removal.
