Easy Vegan Pea Protein Hummus

Ingredients

  • 400g cooked chickpeas
  • 150g fresh peas
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Handful of parsley
  • 2 teaspoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon Okami Bio Pea Protein
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Drain the chickpeas over a bowl to collect the liquid (aquafaba), then add the chickpeas to a blender or food processor.

  2. Add the peas to the blender, along with the tahini, lemon juice, Okami Bio Pea Protein, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper, as well as 4 tablespoons of the aquafaba.

  3. Blend for a few minutes until thick and creamy. You may need to scrape the sides down periodically. Add a little more aquafaba if necessary to get a thick and creamy consistency.

  4. Finish with other peas and a little olive oil.
