Muhammara Dip with Roasted Red Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 jar roasted red peppers (without added sugars and other additives)
  • 1 cup walnuts (200g)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or regular vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste (or 3 tablespoons crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic without the center
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Crush the walnuts.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the blender, including peppers, vinegar, tomato, lemon juice, spices, and blend again.

Tips

  1. Spread on toasted bread for a great snack, or dip chicken nuggets in this sauce for an incredible taste.
