Muhammara Dip with Roasted Red Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 jar roasted red peppers (without added sugars and other additives)
- 1 cup walnuts (200g)
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or regular vinegar
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste (or 3 tablespoons crushed tomatoes)
- 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic without the center
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Crush the walnuts.
Add the remaining ingredients to the blender, including peppers, vinegar, tomato, lemon juice, spices, and blend again.
Tips
Spread on toasted bread for a great snack, or dip chicken nuggets in this sauce for an incredible taste.
