Maple Peanut Butter Batter

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats (feel free to throw the same amount of rolled oats in a food processor to chop them up into quick oat size)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup hot water (I used a tea kettle)
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter to swirl in at the end

Preparation

  1. In a bowl combine all dry ingredients

  2. Add in maple syrup and slowly pour hot water into the bowl

  3. Mix ingredients to make oats creamy

  4. Feel free to add more hot water until you hit the consistency you like (I prefer these to be slightly thick)

  5. Swirl in some natural peanut butter (feel free to sub in an allergy friendly nut/seed butter of your preference)

  6. Top bowl with some fruit and that’s it

  7. Enjoy and lick the spoon clean because it’s that tasty
