Quick Oats Breakfast with Fruits and Spices

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • pinch of cardamom
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • about 1/2 cup hot water
  • ripe mango
  • banana
  • blueberries

Preparation

  1. Stir together the oats, flax seed, salt, cinnamon, cardamom, and maple syrup.

  2. Add small amounts of hot water until the desired thickness is achieved. Approximately 1/2 cup was used.

  3. Top with ripe mango, banana, and blueberries.
