Bok Choy Stir-Fry with Shimeji Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 250 grams bok choy
  • A handful of shimeji mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic for fried topping
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Boiled water as needed
  • Cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic and fry until crisp for topping; set aside.

  2. Split the bok choy in half and wash under running water until clean.

  3. Boil water until boiling, add a little cooking oil, stir, add bok choy, boil briefly, remove, drain, and arrange on a plate.

  4. Sauté the finely chopped garlic until fragrant, then add the mushrooms and sauté briefly.

  5. Add oyster sauce, salt, and sugar to taste, add a little water, cook until boiling, and taste test.

  6. Remove from heat and pour over the bok choy.

  7. Serve with a sprinkle of the fried garlic on top.
