Stir-Fried Water Spinach with Dried Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 500 g water spinach
  • 2 tablespoons dried shrimp
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 bird's eye chilies
  • 2 curly chilies
  • Sugar, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Mushroom stock, to taste
  • Cooking oil, as needed

Preparation

  1. Trim and wash the water spinach, selecting young leaves.

  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan. Sauté garlic and dried shrimp until fragrant. Add chilies and stir briefly.

  3. Add water spinach, season with sugar, salt, and mushroom stock, and stir well.

  4. Add a little water and cook until done.

Notes

  1. Water spinach might not be available every day; choose young leaves for the best flavor.
