Simple Indonesian Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 handful chopped white cabbage
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper to taste
  • A little water

Preparation

  1. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, then add sesame oil and oyster sauce, and stir.

  2. Add the carrot and the harder parts of the white cabbage first, cook until slightly soft.

  3. Add the egg and scramble it, then add water.

  4. Add the spinach, remaining white cabbage, salt, sugar, and ground pepper. Cook until vegetables are done.

  5. Taste and adjust seasoning, then remove from heat and serve.
