Simple Indonesian Stir-Fried Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 pack yellow noodles
  • 1 bunch chopped green mustard greens
  • As needed shredded cabbage
  • 1 egg
  • As needed water
  • 1 teaspoon powdered stock
  • As needed salt and sugar

Ground spices

  • 1 shallot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 candlenut
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Boil the yellow noodles until soft, then drain.

  2. Sauté the ground spices until fragrant, push to the side of the pan and add the egg to scramble it.

  3. Pour in as needed water and let it boil.

  4. Add the noodles and vegetables, stir well, then add salt, powdered stock, and sugar. Adjust the taste and cook briefly until everything is cooked.

Serving suggestions

  1. Serve topped with slices of fried chicken and sprinkled with fried shallots.
