Breakfast Yogurt Ice Lollies

Ingredients

  • one and a half cups yogurt
  • one teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • strawberries
  • one and a half tablespoons chia seeds
  • one tablespoon maple syrup
  • one tablespoon of honey
  • cinnamon

Preparation

  1. To make the strawberry chia & vanilla flavour, mix one and a half cups yogurt with one teaspoon vanilla bean paste for the yogurt layer

  2. For the chia jam layer I made some chia jam by combining one cup finely chopped strawberries, one and a half tablespoons chia seeds and one tablespoon maple syrup

  3. Cook for about ten minutes and allow to cool

  4. Alternate the yogurt and jam layers, freezing for about 20 minutes in between

  5. Or swirl the two together and pour straight into your ice lolly mould

  6. Insert wooden sticks and freeze

  7. To make the granola one, mix some honey through a cup of yogurt

  8. I use one tablespoon of honey but add more if you like it sweeter

  9. A little cinnamon is also delicious

  10. Sprinkle the granola into an ice cream mould, top with the honey yogurt, insert lolly stick and freeze
