Chocolate Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oats flour or oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup plain flour

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree celsius and line a 1lb bread tin with baking paper or coconut oil

  2. In a bowl, mix the eggs, mashed bananas, honey and vanilla

  3. Add the cinnamon, flour and oats until well combined

  4. In a separate bowl, mix all the chocolate layer ingredients together: 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp pumpkin purée, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp plain flour

  5. Pour the pumpkin bread mix into the prepared tin then top it with the chocolate layer mix

  6. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes

  7. Allow to cool and enjoy
