Crispy Baked Cauliflower Wings with Spicy Sauce
Ingredients
Batter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- white pepper to taste
Sauce
- 2.5 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tbsp water
- add some hot sauce for that kick
Preparation
Mix the batter ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Preheat oven to 495°F.
Cut a small head of cauliflower into florets and coat them well with the batter.
Lay them on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove, brush some oil on the cauliflower, flip, and bake for another 5 minutes to give a roasted look.
Mix the sauce ingredients and set aside.
In a heated pan with 1 tsp avocado oil, pour the sauce in slowly as it may splash, add the florets, and coat them until well combined.
Serve immediately.
