Crispy Fried Banana Fingers
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon fine-grained sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 6 medium bananas
For frying
- Oil as needed
Preparation
Heat the oil in a deep skillet and sift the flour and baking powder in a deep bowl.
Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and oil, and mix with a hand mixer.
Add the milk and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.
Peel the bananas, dip the banana pieces in the mixture, lift them with a fork, and shake to remove excess mixture.
Place the bananas in the oil and fry until golden brown.
Place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil, then serve hot in a serving dish.
