Crispy Fried Banana Fingers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon fine-grained sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 6 medium bananas

For frying

  • Oil as needed

Preparation

  1. Heat the oil in a deep skillet and sift the flour and baking powder in a deep bowl.

  2. Add the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and oil, and mix with a hand mixer.

  3. Add the milk and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.

  4. Peel the bananas, dip the banana pieces in the mixture, lift them with a fork, and shake to remove excess mixture.

  5. Place the bananas in the oil and fry until golden brown.

  6. Place them on absorbent paper to remove excess oil, then serve hot in a serving dish.
