Homemade Fluffy Pizza with Crispy Edges

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Combine water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and leave it for 10 minutes to froth up.

  2. Combine salt and flour.

  3. Add the water mixture to the flour mixture and stir.

  4. Knead until a soft ball forms.

  5. Transfer to a clean bowl and coat with olive oil.

  6. Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place for an hour.

  7. Roll out to desired shape and add toppings.

  8. Place on a baking sheet or pizza stone with a generous layer of cornmeal to prevent sticking and ensure extra crispiness.

  9. Bake at 425F for 25 minutes.
