Basic Yeast Dough for Pastries
Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons instant yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup oil
Preparation
In a food processor, place two cups of flour with the salt, sugar, yeast, and water, and knead until the mixture holds together.
Cover it and leave it in a warm place for ten minutes until the dough ferments.
Add the remaining three cups of flour and the oil.
Knead the ingredients on low speed for 4 to 5 minutes until the ingredients mix well.
Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
