Homemade Pumpkin Donuts with Icing
Ingredients
Donuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup organic pumpkin
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Icing
- 1/2 tbsp coconut butter
- 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix all donut ingredients together.
Pour the mixture into a greased donut pan.
Bake for 20-22 minutes.
Let the donuts cool before removing from the pan.
While the donuts are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the icing ingredients.
Microwave the icing mixture for 30 seconds and stir.
Let the icing sit and harden slightly.
Once the donuts have cooled, dip them in the icing.
Eat immediately or store in the fridge to let the icing harden.
It is recommended to use a silicone donut pan to prevent sticking.
This recipe makes 6-7 donuts.
