Kidney Bean Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2/3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tin beans, drained and rinsed (I used kidney)
  • 350g-400g tomato passata
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 4 tbsp plant milk

Preparation

  1. Pop a frying pan on the hob and add the onion. Fry for five minutes

  2. Add the garlic and cook for another minute

  3. Add the beans and fry for a minute

  4. Add all the remaining ingredients and leave to simmer for 5-10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened up

  5. Serve it’s pasta and enjoy
