Layered Crispy French Fries Potato Chips
Ingredients
- Potato: 1kg
- Potato starch: 2 tsp
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Pepper: 1/2 tsp
- Ground black pepper: 1/2 tsp
- Vegetable oil: 2 tsp
- Oregano: 1 tsp
Preparation
Peel more potatoes without cutting too many skins and wash them well.
Cut them into flakes and put them in a bowl.
Add all the ingredients and mix by hand to integrate the flavors well.
Prepare a mold with non-stick paper and arrange the potato slices all over the base. Continue layering until reaching the top and cover it with the remaining paper in the mold.
Preheat the oven to 300°F or 150°C.
Once the oven is hot, put the potatoes in and bake for 1 hour or until they are golden on top.
Once baked, place something heavy on top of the potatoes without removing them from the mold to cool and join together.
Put the potatoes in the fridge for 3 hours.
Unmold and cut into slices as wide as 2 slices of chips.
Heat the oil over medium heat and fry the potato slices for about 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
Serve with cashew sauce and dill.
Decorate as desired.
