Quinoa Porridge with Cinnamon and Vanilla
Ingredients
- 150g quinoa
- 70g oats
- 500ml water
- 200ml almond milk plus 50ml extra
- 1/2 vanilla pod or 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
Combine the quinoa, oats, water and 200ml of the almond milk in a pan.
Add the ground cinnamon and scrape the seeds from the vanilla pod and add both the seeds and pod to the pan.
Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes until the quinoa is tender.
Serve with chia jam and your favourite toppings.
