Strawberry Jaggery Sondesh Dessert
Ingredients
- 200 grams homemade paneer
- 3-4 tablespoons jaggery powder
- 3-4 teaspoons cardamom powder
- Fresh strawberries
Preparation
Mash 200 grams of homemade paneer with your palm for 5 minutes until it becomes smooth.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of jaggery powder according to your preferred sweetness.
Add 3-4 teaspoons of cardamom powder.
Mash the mixture again for 5 minutes.
Cook the paneer mixture on low to medium flame in a pan until the jaggery melts and the color changes, but do not overcook to avoid it becoming chewy and dry.
Spread the mixture out on a plate and smooth it with your palm while it is still warm, avoiding over-mashing to prevent milk fat separation.
Take a small portion of the mixture, stuff a strawberry inside, and cover it nicely with the sondesh mixture.
The Gur Strawberry Sondesh is ready, cut it, serve, and enjoy.
Tips
Preferably use homemade paneer made from cow milk for the best authentic taste.
