Besan Laddu Indian Sweet Treat

Ingredients

  • 1.5 heaped cups chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6-7 cardamom pods, ground
  • Some dry fruits for garnish

Preparation

  1. Mix the besan with 2 tablespoons of ghee

  2. Heat the remaining ghee

  3. Add the besan mixture to the heated ghee and roast until it turns a nice pink color

  4. Sprinkle some water to improve the texture

  5. Add cardamom powder, mix well, and remove from heat

  6. Add sugar and mix thoroughly

  7. Shape the mixture into balls and garnish with dry fruits

Tips

  1. Stick to the specified measurements as increasing the ghee may prevent the laddoos from forming properly
