Super Easy Quick Healthy Chickpea Fritters

Ingredients

  • 220g cooked chickpeas (corresponds to one glass)
  • a clove of garlic
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs (frozen or fresh)
  • 75 ml of hot water
  • 30g oats
  • 60g wholemeal spelt flour (or wheat)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked salt (or normal)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • Optional: additional spices, 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Also oil for frying

Preparation

  1. Crush the chickpeas roughly and pour them with the hot water.

  2. Chop the onion and garlic and add them to the chickpeas along with the other ingredients.

  3. Mix everything well and let it steep for 5 min.

  4. Form small patties and fry them crispy with cooking oil.

  5. Enjoy with a sauce of your choice.
