Turkish Spinach and Feta Phyllo Pastries

Ingredients

  • phyllo pastry
  • butter
  • feta cheese
  • fresh spinach

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

  2. Cook fresh spinach until wilted and squeeze out excess water

  3. Crumble feta cheese and mix with the spinach

  4. Melt butter in a small saucepan

  5. Brush a baking dish with melted butter

  6. Layer phyllo pastry sheets, brushing each sheet with melted butter

  7. Spread the spinach and feta mixture between the layers of phyllo

  8. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown
