Peri-Peri Prawns with Steers Sauce
Ingredients
Marinade
- 125g butter
- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tsp crushed red chillies
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp garlic
- 2 Tbsp Steers peri peri sauce
- 1 kg prawns
Sauce
- 125g butter
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp Steers peri peri sauce
- 3 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp parsley
Preparation
Melt 125g butter, add in 1.5 tsp salt, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 tsp lemon pepper, 1 tsp crushed red chillies, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp garlic and 2 tablespoons Steers peri peri sauce. Mix well then marinate 1kg prawns in all this mixture.
Lay prawns shell up and cook for 15 minutes on medium heat.
Then transfer to an oven proof dish and grill for 10 minutes.
Separately boil 125g butter, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 tablespoons Steers peri peri sauce, 3 tablespoons mayonnaise and 1 tsp parsley. Once prawns are done, pour this sauce over and serve.
