Crunchy Baklava Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 packet phyllo dough
  • 1 cup melted butter

Filling

  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Garnish

  • pistachios

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Prepare a large baking dish.

  3. Brush the phyllo dough sheets with melted butter, stack them together and crumple, then roll into a log and place in the baking dish, repeat with the remaining sheets and pour the remaining butter over them.

  4. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until the baklava is golden.

  5. In a bowl, combine the condensed milk, milk, eggs, cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla, and whisk until well mixed.

  6. Remove the baklava from the oven, pour the mixture over it, and return to the oven for another 20 minutes until golden.

  7. Sprinkle with pistachios and serve.
