Fluffy Orange Yogurt Cake

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 seedless orange
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 cups sifted flour

Preparation

  1. Place the orange, eggs, sugar, vanilla, yogurt, and oil in a blender and blend for at least 5 minutes.

  2. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients.

  3. Add the baking soda and vinegar, then mix without overmixing.

  4. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes.

  5. Grease the pan with tahini, add the mixture, and place in the oven.

  6. Bake at high heat until it starts to rise, then reduce to medium heat, and finally to low heat until fully cooked. Do not open the oven during baking.
