Grilled Lobster with Lemon Cumin Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lobster

Boiling liquid

  • 2 liters water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Grilling sauce

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan

Preparation

  1. Wash the lobster.

  2. Clean the lobster with a wooden stick to remove waste.

  3. In a large pot or pan, place 2 liters of water, salt, cumin, lemon slices, and onion slices. Bring to a boil for a few minutes, then add the lobster and boil until the color changes. Remove and set aside to cool.

  4. Remove the meat from the lobster.

  5. For the sauce: in a bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice, crushed garlic, cumin, optional nutmeg, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix well and spread it over the lobster meat and shells.

  6. Heat a grilling pan and grill the lobster.

  7. Place the lobster on a serving dish, reattach the head, sprinkle with some parmesan cheese, and serve hot with the remaining sauce.
