Grilled Lobster with Lemon Cumin Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 lobster
Boiling liquid
- 2 liters water
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
Grilling sauce
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup finely grated parmesan
Preparation
Wash the lobster.
Clean the lobster with a wooden stick to remove waste.
In a large pot or pan, place 2 liters of water, salt, cumin, lemon slices, and onion slices. Bring to a boil for a few minutes, then add the lobster and boil until the color changes. Remove and set aside to cool.
Remove the meat from the lobster.
For the sauce: in a bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice, crushed garlic, cumin, optional nutmeg, salt, and chopped parsley. Mix well and spread it over the lobster meat and shells.
Heat a grilling pan and grill the lobster.
Place the lobster on a serving dish, reattach the head, sprinkle with some parmesan cheese, and serve hot with the remaining sauce.
