Brazilian Cream and Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 (300g) container nata (heavy cream)
- 8 eggs
- 4 measures (using the nata container) sweet cassava flour (polvilho doce)
- 3 measures (using the nata container) grated cured cheese
- 1 measure (using the nata container) milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 dessertspoon salt (adjust if cheese is salty)
Preparation
Place cassava flour and salt in a large bowl
Moisten with nata and butter; mix until the flour dust settles
Add grated cheese
Make a well in the center and add a small amount of milk
Gradually add the eggs and the remaining milk, mixing continuously
Knead the dough vigorously until smooth and firm enough to roll
Preheat oven to 200Β°C (400Β°F)
Shape the dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown
Notes
The salt amount may be adjusted based on the saltiness of the cheese
