Brazilian Cheese Cookies with Nata Cream
Ingredients
- 1 (300g) pot NATA cream
- 8 eggs
- 4 measures (using the NATA pot) sweet cassava starch
- 3 measures (using the NATA pot) grated cured cheese
- 1 measure (using the NATA pot) milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 dessert spoon salt (adjust according to cheese saltiness)
Preparation
Place the cassava starch in a bowl
Moisten with NATA cream and butter, then mix until the starch dust settles
Add the grated cheese and salt (adjusting the amount based on the cheese's saltiness)
Make a well in the center and add a small amount of milk
Gradually add the eggs and the remaining milk
Knead well until the dough is homogeneous and holds together for rolling; do not let it become too soft, so knead thoroughly
