Berry Flapjack Bars
Ingredients
- 190g oats
- 135g self-raising flour
- 90g brown sugar
- 1.5 tsp cinnamon
- 100g margarine
- 250g defrosted frozen berry mix
Preparation
Preheat the oven to Gas 4 or 180°C and grease and line a deep, small baking tin.
Place oats in a food processor to blend into oatmeal, then add flour, sugar, and cinnamon, and mix well.
Melt the margarine and stir it into the mixture.
Spread a thick layer of the mixture on the base of the baking tray, top with the berries, press down lightly, and then add the remaining mixture on top.
Bake for 40 minutes and allow to cool before cutting into 16 pieces.
Tips
Store in an airtight tin for up to a few days.
