High Protein Soya Thalipeth
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups soy chunks
- 2-3 tablespoons besan
- chili powder
- turmeric powder
- whole cumin seeds
- carrom seeds
- salt
Vegetables
- finely chopped onion
- finely chopped carrot
- chopped coriander
- green chillies
- garlic
- ginger
Preparation
Soak 1.5 cups of soy chunks in hot water for 30 minutes
Squeeze out the water and blend into soy mince
Add 2-3 tablespoons of besan to the soy mince
Add chili powder and turmeric powder
Add whole cumin seeds, carrom seeds, and salt
Add finely chopped vegetables such as onion, carrot, coriander, green chillies, garlic, and ginger
Combine all ingredients well
Soak your hands in water to prevent sticking
On a medium-hot pan, gently press the mixture to form the thalipeth
Cook on low to medium heat for 7-8 minutes per side
Serve the soya thalipeth with curd and chutney
