Instant Rava Onion Dosa
Ingredients
- 1 cup rava
- 3 tablespoons rice flour
- 2 tablespoons wheat flour (optional)
- salt to taste
- 3.5 cups water
- 1 teaspoon jeera (optional)
- some green chillies (optional)
- coriander leaves (optional)
Preparation
Mix rava, rice flour, wheat flour if using, salt, and water to make a thin batter.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
If the batter is too thick, add more water to achieve a watery consistency.
Optionally add jeera, chopped green chillies, and coriander leaves to the batter.
Heat a pan and wipe it with a tissue paper dipped in oil.
Sprinkle finely chopped onions on the pan.
When onions start to change color, stir the batter and pour it over the onions.
Drizzle oil around the edges of the dosa.
Cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
Release the sides and remove the dosa from the pan.
Tips
Stir the batter before each use as water may float to the top.
Adjust water quantity based on batter thickness for best results.
